About us
A fun place for your child to play and learn
At Lowson Street Pre School we offer care and education for children aged 2 to 4. We are fully Ofsted registered.
We are commited to ensuring the best possible start for your child in a caring and friendly environment, following the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The setting offers a free-flow system which enables your child to decide and develop independently following their own interest, whether they prefer the indoors or outdoors environment.
Our outdoor area has lots of learning opportunities and we were lucky to receive 'Early Excellence' resources which have brought about lots of exploration and helped the development of our children.
The indoor environment is set up to allow the children to feel happy, secure and confident. They have access to all of the resources.
Each child is allocated their own Key Person and have their own learning journey folder, any observations will be kept in there and parents are encouraged to look at and share their child's experiences and interests.
We use the children's observations to inform our planning and try to follow a child's individual interest. However we also have lots of other seasonal topics which we encourage the children to be involved in.
At Lowson Street we offer an open door approach and always make sure that we are available to speak to parents on a daily basis.
